(1) This isn't a military question.
(2) You can't just slam people for exercising 1st Amendment rights. If they're not American citizens or Permanent Residents, then the impulse to try to keep them in line is applicable even less.
(3) The comment you outlined isn't exactly grounds for law enforcement to act on. There's no declaration of intent. There's no demonstrated means. What do you think would happen if every would-be hero who's watched too much of Jack Bauer on "24" called in a spot report on every human being with a grudge against the United States? Instant justice? More likely overworked LEOs not getting the time to chase down authentic leads. Get real.
(4) Besides, the entire world knows what the American reaction to a bombing on American soil is already. Chasing down people in this manner for exercising the right to free speech is downright idiotic at best.
(5) And for you idiots who believe there should be serious action taken on this, move to some country where there are no freedoms and you can get slammed for what you mumble in your sleep. America is not a police state. You imbeciles who invoke "common sense" would have felt at home in Nazi Germany. Fulfill your impulses to snitch and rat someplace else.

People say things all the time like this--soon everyone in the country will be reported to Homeland Security for some ridiculous comment they made--we are spending far too much time pointing fingers. Give me a break!

I think we should let the pathetic little people alone to think and say what they want. That is what makes the USA so great isn't it??? Morons can say what they want, when they want.
GOD bless the USA

Yes & to Yahoo Q & A too!
Do we know for sure she is not part of a covert operation of another country. She is at least anti-American.

Yes, anyone who says something like that should not be taken lightly. I am not amused by her comments, totally not a joking matter.

No, because what she said was primarily HER opinion. Only an asshole would do something like that.
