I have a Lhasa Apso/American Eskie who is 4 months old. I work a lot so she usually be left alone @ home and she keeps scratching the wall, even though I had bought a lot of chewing toys for her. I don't know if the paint can be poisonous or not and how to stop her.

Their is this great invention called a "Scat Mat" Is is an electronic pad that when it is stepped on delivers a low voltage shock. Place it in front of the wall where he scratches. He wont go near the wall again! I used it to keep my dogs from jumping on the window. Works great!

First of all OMG is that ever the cutest pup in the whole freakin world!!
Secondly, it sounds like separation anxiety.
Perhaps you should consider crate training for at night & when you go out. Get her used it slowly though, while you are still at home & with LOTS of reward treats.
Oh & never leave a pup that age in its crate for longer than 2 hours because pups are more needy & their bladders are not fully formed!
She will come to love it. Everyone needs their own space to escape to, so many people even leave the crate door open all day, when they are home so that the dog can use it as a sanctuary when it needs its own space!
Hope I helped! Good Luck!! And give your precious pup big kisses for me!!

It's probably something she does out of boredom. The best thing to do would be to keep her confined in the kitchen, laundry room, or other room that you don't mind getting scratched. You could always confine her to a playpen or crate as long as you are going to be gone for 8 hours or less (for the crate-anything over 8 hours is too long).
When she is under your direct supervision, you can correct her for scratching and offer her something else to do, a chewy bone, etc. It won't take long before she will stop doing the behavior, and then you can let her have run of the house again.
Hope this helps!

You need to stop her by keeping her in a crate or exercise pen during the day while you're at work so she can't get into anything dangerous or wreck your house while she's growing up. A puppy needs to be protected until they're old enough, and reliably housetrained, to be left loose in the house. And yes, chewing paint is not good for her.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/ZN0Vs

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

you need to either crate her (but not more than 6 hours at a time for a puppy that young), or give her A LOT more excercise. dogs destroy things when they are bored and have too much energy. give her a good run when you get more at night, and possibly in the morning, and she should be so tired that she will sleep through the day. also, i suggest a dog walker/ doggy day care so that she isnt alone through the whole day and she gets out and more excercise.
