His school timing is 9 am to 3 pm. We tried the local kids cab service and they are full and checked with the school, if we could request other parents and it is not working. Our work schedules are too demanding time wise and hence we ourselves cannot pick and drop him. Any ideas.

yes i want to hire someone, but due to demanding schedule we don't know too many people in my area. How do i find retired folks or stay home moms to drive him to school? He likes this school and i would hate to stretch his hours there - 9 to 3 is good.

Who takes care of him before 9 and ater 3? Could that person or person provide transport? Perhaps you could find a retired person or stay-at-home mom who would be willing to drive him.

Otherwise you may have to face some unpleasant alternatives, such as finding a pre-school closer to home or with longer hours. And if that is also not possible, remember that it was your choice to have a child and ultimately your responsibility to care for him -- perhaps one of you will neeed to find a less demanding job until he is older.

If you can't come up with a safe (crimnal-history-checked driver) and acceptable plan for your child's transportation, I would say: Change your work hours, stay home or give him to another family to raise. It seems simple: Either you find transportation or you don't. I don't understand the assumption that there are other choices.

~~Here's what you want to hear: Put an ad in the paper for some stranger, in the town that you don't know anyone in.

Your schedules are too demanding. Your nanny can't drive -- even in the event of an emergency. Are you kidding us with that question, while overlooking the obvious??

Who takes care of him after preschool? Have that person pick him up. Or talk with other parents at the school who live in your vicinity and see if they would be willing.
