This girl that I like and I have gotten real close. We are always found talking alone, and when we get in conversation, we often cannot stop talking to each other even when we have to go somewhere. All friends say we probably like each other. I have proceeded to be more obvious about my interest. She probably already knows I like her but questions it because I have a lot of friends that are girls. Anyway, last night I told her I needed to ask a few questions. Immeidately, she went back into conversation with one of her friends. After that, I engaged her brother in conversation. She slowly made her way toward the door, and for the first time in MONTHS, she left without saying goodbye at least once. What is going on between us? Why do you think she ran?

Dude, you scared her away.

Slow your roll, playa.

It was quite rude of her to immediately go back to girlfriend conversation when you voiced a need, my opinion. Even if she's scared of your "more obvious interest", her action was rude.

For her to suddenly exit without saying anything to you, again, was rude. It seems she doesn't care what your concerns or questions are anymore. Almost as if you don't exist. Either that, or you're beginning to see the real her. Know what I mean?

See if you can talk with her and ask her what's wrong, why she's not talkin with you. If she refuses, let this fish swim away.

Doing so will be painful at first, but you'll be happier in the end.

As the old sayin goes: There are more fish in the sea.

I am a female and find myself shaking my head at the antics other females do to men like you. I just don't understand them.

Keep your chin up!

Hope this helps.

She might know what you want to say and isn't interested in you that way. You caught her off guard and she needs some time to prepare what she's going to say so she can let you down easy. No one is in a rush to have to tell someone to their face that they just don't like them that way. I'd avoid it at all costs! If she did like you the way you like her, she would've stuck around bc she'd be anxious to hear it. I know if the guy I am friends with but really love said something like that to me, I would have said, ok, let's go talk, almost immediately.

Girls use conversation as a defensive tool. If you have made it more obvious that you like her, she may have become afraid that your questions would be about commitment. She may be unsure of her feelings at the moment, so left abruptly. Give it a bit of time, and see how she acts.

She doesn't want to be more than friends with you and doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
