I believe the answer to your question can best be stated in the lyrics of an oldies song from the 1960's by the group "Main Ingredient" which is titled " Everybody Plays the Fool". And those lyrics are " falling in love is such an easy thing to do, and there's no guarantee that the one you love is going to love you".
What that means is that you can't MAKE someone like you. It doesn't mean that you're not a nice person, or that he may be passing up the best that will ever happen to him. It only means that at this point in time he isn't interested, and that could be for any number of reasons. That may change in the future or it may not. Try to look at this in a positive way, it might just be that he isn't the right one for you and you are being spared lots on unnecessary pain that would happen later on. Be patient, when that "special" one comes around you'll both know it.

You are not feeling good becasue of a sense of getting a rejection.. this is a natural reaction one can have.. but fact is that he seem to be more interested in someone else... so try to forget... In your life you may also have rejected some guys whom you did not like... so take it easy...

ahhh yea!! what u think every guy out there is interested in u, u may get alot of guys but also there are alot of guys that are already taken,and no matter what u do or how u act u won't get them.

What's obvious signals to you may not be obvious to him. Or he may be just shy. Another reason may be money (he may not have much, or any, and doesn't want to be embarrassed by revealing that fact).
