I don't buy anything anybody says without investigation. Blind faith is stupid. Faith is overrated.

People do no believe God because of blind faith.
People believe because of something they have read in the Bible, or have heard preached, or they or someone they know has been healed by God (or some other super natural event).
A person who believes does not understand (nor has received all that they do understand) every thing in the Bible. But because they experienced that God and the Bible are true, they then have faith that God and the Bible are true, even all that they do not understand.

Blind faith is faith of the blind who refuse to turn to the Sun of Truth. It is a great pity for their spiritual blindness to eternity.

All faith is blind. I can't see any semantic difference between faith, and stupidity.
Faith in ordinary matters is rightly seen as foolishness, but for some reason, it becomes a great virtue when applied to the unprovable.

I believe that to follow any idea, group or rule without knowing the facts, reasons or morality behind it is asking for trouble. To walk through life accepting things as they are handed to you, you could easily miss learning about new people and educating yourself to things very relevant in your life. I have said before you can believe and still question, have faith and still search for answers.

I think that is is unintelligent and reckless to believe something that you know nothing about. People who live their lives this way are more apt to fall into the hands of cults or degenerates. Jesus never said to have blind faith, so what purpose does it serve?

True definition of faith: Hebrews 11:1 describes it as the "assured expectation of things hoped for. The EVIDENT DEMONSTRATION of things hoped for though not beheld."
Faith shouldn't BE blind.

Faith relates to God and Jesus....
Faith in God, that he exists, and that he cares for us, and that he will do something wonderful in the near future, you require faith.
Faith in Jesus Christ, that his sacrifice, cleans us from our sins, and forgive us for whatever we did bad againt God, and that he is now King in Heavens since 1914, and that he is going to destroy all wicked evil spirits and bad humankind not doing God's will.
Blind Faith is what the Pharisees had since they did belief in the Bible and had it, but they were not accepting Jesus Christ as the Messiah, as the Annointed One, as the Christ even though it was written in the Holy Scriptures....that is blind faith, cause they belief in what they think was correct before God's eyes, but not according to what the Bible stated....So as true christians, we ought to obey God's word the Bible as a whole, not just what we like to fit our way of living, but to fit God's point of view .
