Thank you all so very much for your fine help. My friend is a GYSGT in the Marinecorps and had one built in Iraq and Troops were saved and baptised.

Now he is in bad shape here at home and needs your prayers. I negete any wrongful prayers in the name of Jesus by those who don't believe in Jesus Christ. But if you ARE a Christian PLEASE pray for his recovery.

He has two blood clots..one in his thigh and the other in his calve. He is in excrutiating pain. He has no one to take care of him. Please pray for Gods Divine intervention and Complete and gentle healing. In Jesus Name, AMEN.

Baptism. In the older days they use to baptize people in the rivers or lakes. Now churches have a Baptismal pool, and people are taken there for immersion into the waters.

Sister I will pray for your prayer request. Sister, I think the baptism pool is also refer to as a Baptismtries, ( maybe not Spell correcty), There seems to be another mane, also, But I can't think of it now, I think it starts with a V. I may be wrong on this V. thing.

The smaller one is called a "baptismal font". I believe that's the term for the kind too small for a full immersion, though. It's just a little basin.

Not being of the Baptist persuasion, I am uncertain of what ecclesiastical term might be used, but I think many refer to it as a "tank".

In non-immersion forms of baptism, a Baptismal Font is used.
