Jesus indeed died for our sins. Once we accept Jesus as our Saviour (Read Romans 3:10, 3:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9 - 13) this secure us a place in Heaven. Once Save we have two natures dwelling in us, the old nature (sinful) and the new nature (perfect and holy because of the Holy Spirit that abides in us) Read Galatians 5:16 -25. As a Christian we must strive daily not to sin and if we do we must confess our sin to be in a right relationship with our Saviour Read 1 John 1:6 - 10. Yes, is the answer to your question about being obligated for our sins Read Galatians 6:7 - 10. We as as Christians must avoid the yoke of bondage (sin) Galatians 5:1, 13 and lay aside every weight and sin that besets us Hebrews 12:1 -2.
To answer your second question. We should not desire to know the worst sin (Sin is Sin - Romans 3:10) of everyone. This only opens our lives so the Devil may attack us 1 Peter 5:8 - 9.

I don't think a person has to obligate themselves to sin, as it comes naturally for humans to sin, in my opinion. The worst sin I've ever made was 13 I stold some eyeliner from a store. I guess I'm not in the rate my sins line of work, I'm sure I've done something worse.

Hebrews 10:26-29
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

no you are not obligated to sin. we were born into sin. that means we sin everyday even if we are not aware. for instance some of our beliefs may be different that what they really are. sometimes a thought can be turned from thought into sin. my worst sin was when i was 15 i said god was a fake. i'm greatful i found the truth though. im now 18. and now nothing could get in the way of my faith in christ. so says my user name (thee worshiper of jesus christ).

Jesus died for our sins because we were born with original sin, no one is sinless but Jesus Christ, we are to live our lives as Jesus would, but us being human always fall short of that but we have to strive to live as He did, we aren't perfect but don't make it a point to find sin, trust me, it will try to find you, you have to decide whether you want to sin and live with the consequences or do the right thing. I am not perfect, I have sinned but I do my penance and I trust in Jesus to forgive me. I'll pray that you do the right things in life. Have a Blessed Day!!!

First of all, go back and do that bible lesson again, Jesus did not die on the cross so we COULD sin. Second, sorry Charlie, you have no choice BUT to sin, as you are human. At least, I'm presuming you are! (lol) And last but not least my worst sin? Well, I'm too ashamed to say...even anonymously!

We are not obligated to sin, but by are very nature are imcapable of not committing sins sometimes, even if it is only a harsh thought against another. We can only strive for perfection, not attain it. My worst sin---Pride- .
