i'm all about the quickest solution or end. whatever completes the task most efficiently. they're still making threats (i like the one about the pope should convert to islam, or else) so we obviously haven't gotten the point across.
and, the whole american's wouldn't be getting killed if they weren't over there is b.s. if you really believe that live and let live would work with these people, you're an idiot. not everyone in the world thinks in humane thoughts. or are people really suggesting we kiss islam's *ss so we don't upset the muslims, they don't terrorize us, and we won't have to go to war? how much should we compromise, how far should we roll over? is it worth surrenduring so long as we can avoid a war? how can people think that we're being attacked because we're stepping on toes? then, when something happens, like a tsunami, we're expected to step in and intervene, well....the rest of the world doesn't dictate what america does, sorry.

What exactly did Iraq do again? Oh yeah, they had weapons of mass destruction - except they didn't have those in the end did they? Ok so we went in for regeime change. Which means getting rid of Sadam Hussein and his government. His GOVERNMENT. Not the people of Iraq who didn't actually have anything to do with Hussein - who was brought to power by a CIA backed coup.
If you believe all Iraqis must die because of the actions of a few, then it is presumably very easy for you to understand the mentality of the terrorists who believe all Americans must die because of the actions of a few. The way to win a war is to take the war away, not to kill every single person who dares to resist. If (for instance) China invaded the US you would resist wouldn't you? You wouldn't say "oh, fair enough, you've got us" and submit to Chinese rule. So using your ideology China would be PERFECTLY justified to level every single US city until only the people who supported them were left. Sound about right to you?

I think we already did the bombing thing......we are now trying to rebuild what we destroyed not make it even worse. Keep in mind that a large majority of people over there are like you and me, just average people trying to work and raise our families, it doesn't seem right that they should eat bombs for that. Our boys are doing something heroic and a lot of them believe in the cause for the Iraqi civilian population. War is hell and people get killed and that is the price we pay for doing what we are. Remember no good deed goes unpunished.

What about the US troops that are in Iraq ? They would be bombed also. Who should give up, you don't even know who are the terrorists.
But think about this :
you pretend that you are the land of freedom, that you liberated a country from a dictator AND that the US stands for all what is right.

Does everyone realize during our Home Land Security it is illegal to threaten terrorist acts towards the United States? If someone knocks on your door, I do not know you at all.
No more bombing than absolutely necessary, let our valiant troops take care of it until they can take care of themselves.
We are staying with the original plan.
