Right now osama is believed to be in pakistan specifically the autonomous regions on the afghan border. I am sure bush would love it if afghanistan had handed osama over in the 1st place and we wouldn't of had to invade afghanistan and avoided this mess. However that didn't happen the taliban tried to protect him, so we invaded unfortunately he got away into pakistan. Fortunately pakistan is working with us and we don't want to fight a nuclear armed nation. It is hoped that with this peace deal the pakistani government is offering will put the taliban and osama off guard and allow our sniper teams to kill osama. PS. We don't have millions of soldiers we only have about 800,000 in our army. However there so good they can fight armies many times there size without many casualties. Oh yeah could you use the spell check feature yahoo answers provides people won't take you seriously if all your words are misspelled.

I don't think President Bush would stop even if he found Osama.

From what I caugh ta quick glimpse of, the Israelis and Iraqians don't want the US or Canadian army there anymore, more so the US by burning the flag on national TV.

I understand that both armies are there to ensure that a stable government is in place and wil not be moved until such time.

If the army did find Osama (kinda of like Where's Waldo) who started the whole war against US (go army go) the trial would be drawn out for so long as it is with Hussien.

All the power to you guys, I hope the S.O .B (Osama) rots in Hell!!

I think that is why we have heard from the president we are trying to find him however that is not our main focus. He isn't our main focus why because he is not the only terrorist out there. We haven't attacked other countries because of Osama. We haven't found him for the same reasons we can't find other fugitives all around the globe. People help hide them and keep them safe. They stay in caves that can't show where they are from planes. I really don't know. But to say that he is a government agent you would have to go back to Clinton because he let him go. So it would be non partisan (didn't matter if rep. or dem.) It would mean our government was a lot worse than we all could have imagined. And where I didn't vote or like Clinton I don't believe that he would do that neither would Bush. I just can't believe our government would do that.

It might be that whe know where he is and just can't get to him because he's in a country we want as a friend. For an example, Pakistan would be the logical place. The area is covered with mountians where he could hide to make it hard to spot. he knows the area and the people, after all, he's lived there for years helping build the diffrent cells. the reason, and i think theres a few, is: 1 it would be very tough to pin point any one living in mountians and caves. 2. we want pakistan to continue helping us and if we bombed their country hoping to hit osama, they would end ties with us. 3. We really don't want to turn him into a marter. it was one thing to kill hussains sons that kill, raped, stole ect. but osama did help beat back the russian and is still remembered to some as a hero. 4. if we do know where he is, we would gain more info from listning to his comunications than we could ever form taking him in.

or i could be totaly wrong and he could be dead right now or some place we havent looked... mabey he's in France... we should bomb France next

This question doesn't make much sense. Nor is it logical.

However, I will say this: It is because of historical wars such as Revolutionary and others that Americans today are able to sit at their computers, read questions such as this, and voice their opinions (even if it's against the current government) without any retaliation from the government!

The residents under the control of Hussein didn't have this luxury. They lived under constant fear, anxiety, and other negative factors for YEARS!

Would you want that? Think about it the next time you Americans want to whine about the greatest country in the world!

That's why we're over there: Giving those folks the precious gift that we all take for granted daily....FREEDOM!

Don't forget there are troops stationed ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Not just Iraq!

Let's give thanks and praise to our brave and courageous troops who sacrifice their lives fighting for YOUR FREEDOM!

Freedom is not and never has been free. Get it?!

All gave some, and some gave all.

God Bless The USA!

The president is right in goin gafter the terrorist who have vowed to destroy all who do not belong to his faith and has been attacking civilized countries . But he seems to be going in the wrong direction and has been shooting in the air due to the deleiberate misguidance of his dear friend who is more on the side of terrorism than with him. You know that love is blind .So is the president of the most powerful country of the world today.. He is not to blame , but the unfathomable love for his friend that is misguiding him.The president's love for his friend fostered by his administration for over several decades ,seems to be blinding his vision. . There is nothing wrong in his intentions. He has to fight terror in the interest of the people of America and the world too.; but he is shooting at the shadow and not at the person of the terrorists.. He is going after the arrow and not at the shooter.because of deliberate misguidance. The terrorist won't be caught during the presidency of of thepresent incumbent as lot of time and resources have been spent in moving towards wrong directions. The action against Afghaistanwas commendable . but before that task could be completed with perfction , the action against Iraq was taken. It sems that it was not really necessary. Now the situation there is such that the US will not be justified in leaving Iraq in the present coniditon So he might not be able to pursue any effective action in the direction of bringing the elusive terrorist to justice as the operation would certainly involve another war . Tha ti sno like ly to be aceptable by many at the present juncture .May be his successors would be able to see the right direction and bring the terrorist to justice and peace to the world .

How can we answer your question logicaly and seriously when the question is neither?

The Taliban in Afghanistan are the only ones we attacked to get Bin Laden.

There are not a billion soldiers, there are less than 200,000 in the middle east. However, there are 6 billion people on the planet. Trying to find one man is extremely difficult.

Suggesting that Bin Laden is an agent of America is F_ing retarded.

Osama Bin Laden is someone who fights for something he belives in. His own little war against the American people has become everyone's war. He, OBL now stands as a threat for every country that encourages freedom, in all shapes and sizes. No country in this world would give him assylum. As for the agent of American Government part I seriosely doubt that any one in their right mind would kill so many inocent lives just for the fun of it. Even, your president.

We are better off not finding him. If we let him run then we will always have a reason to look in places that we could not look if he was detained. Alot of other things these days are far more important to security than just that one man. He is now just an old memory not much to him anymore so why catch him or waste time even looking for him.

if history has tought tus anything is that you can't hunt in someones backyard without tripping on the clothes lines, like Vietnam Afghanistan and its mountainous region is a challenge for any special troops or even the best helicopter pilots to maneuver over them , Laden has long left this region and safe with his own people and we are made to look like fools every friendly nation to us thus far i a secret foe
