I've noticed many skirts on pregnant women tend to be on the shorter side. Why is that? Do you like that style?

HA HA HA They are on the shorter side because their belly's make them that way. Actually when I was pregnant I like the skirts that were just above the knee since I was so klutzy.

Most pregnant women will try to find maternity clothes that best match the style that they normally wear. Since many women wear short skirts it makes sense that you would see a lot of short maternity skirts. Also, many pregnant women are young and would prefer not to look like they are middle aged.
Since I am one who prefers to keep covered up- no, I don't like that style for me.

i doubt they are maternity skirts they are probably just skirts they wore before pregnancy. When i was pregnant i wore my regluar skirts and because i was pregnant it looked shorter. By the way whats wrong with a pregnant lady wearing a skirt? she has a big belly yeh but its not like to over weight or ugly or something. geez

I never wore a short maternity skirt and was always able to use one of my stretchy long skirts. It's prettier to wear long skirts. More feminine looking. More comfortable too. Short skirts are a good way to get cold....

NO! Maybe I'm old fashioned but when ladies are at the showing level and certainly at the balloon/bombing level, I would prefer to observe a lot more of their modesty discreetly hidden behind some long and very attractive maternity wear! Indeed, a lot of women, discretly dressed, at that stage i.e. in bloome with the fullness of womenhood - look very attractive!

NEWS FLASH
Pregnant women are NOT sexy, I know these days it is the fashion to tell them they are and not laugh in there face when they go out in a crop top with a belly the size of an overgrown beach ball but it does look awful. I am not denying anybody there right to wear what they want as I believe they are free to look however they want to look even if this means looking ridiculous.

If a woman would normally wear short skirts while she's not pregnant, why shouldn't she were them while pregnant? She's still the same woman. :)

I think it is okay ans makes pregnant people still feel like they have something to offer to their loved one....When you are pregnant and bulging in most times more than one area you tend to feel down........
