Diabetes is a possible answer for causing variable vision. Keratitis sicca or "Dry Eye" may also cause transient blurryed vision. Allergy can also increase mucus secretions on the surface of the eye which may blurr vision. Accomodative spasm can cause transient blurred vision. Central serous maculopathy can cause temporary blurring. An eye exam is necessary to rule out serious causes

A sugar rush can do this. If I eat a big dish of ice cream, it becomes more difficult to read because of blurred vision.
If your vision is often blurry, you feel tired a lot, are always thirsty, you may be diabetic.

Go to the doctor right away. This is hazardous to your eye health. Also, lay off the cigarettes and avoid second hand smoke because that also causes popped blood vessels in eyes.
