Ive never flown directly from Berlin Tegel to altanta though. Everytime I boarded in Manchester or Frankfurt oder stuttgart. The security there wasnt so bad either.I always fly delta!!! Im a little drunk right now but Im just telling you my expierience with what I did to get to the U.S.A.

I am in the Army and stationed in Germany. I flew from Germany several times to the states and you can be at the airport 2 to 2 1/2 hours prior to flying but 3 hours to be on the safe side. It also depends on what time of the year you're flying.

At least 4 hours.
From any airport in the world when flight to the US, due to the fear.
Not only Al-Qaeda "wants" to destroy the US, Spiderman enemies, Aliens, E.T., Dinosaurs, King Kong, etc. specially NYC.
