they may not believe in Zeus but they are curious and want to gain more wisdom and knowledge about subjects they know either little or nothing about.

Oh, *good* one! I wonder if the people who need to get it will.
I believe in Zeus, or at least a God that does his functions.
Poor DF's education was severely lacking, obviously.

Perhaps to make fun of other people's beliefs in a "god" that doesn't exist like Zeus, but with a different name. LOL

Your questions is to my understanding lacking the very foundations in that it must be :why DONT people ask..."! If you think it over, you will come to realise, I hope, that this person, whoever he is, is just another human being, like you, like me. So morally it would be wrong indeed if I or someone did not believe in him when and if he DID live at one time. But how do you justify your own faith in him, that is the REAL question.
Seek to understand first, before asking of others (esp. if it is clearly 'stupid').

who says no one believes in Zeus it makes just as much sense to me to believe in him as it does to believe in God
