I don't believe in God, this is more a philosophical realm (humor if you will)

I asked God for a set of six random numbers. He opened his hand and after my eyes became accustomed to the bright light, I saw: 1, 9, 38, 12, and 10. God announced "Here are the six numbers you requested."

I said to "Hey there's only five numbers here." God shoved the numbers a little closer to my face and said. "Maybe you don't see so good...Here are the SIX numbers you requested."

I said thank you for the six numbers. Then I asked him if they were really random. He just slowly turned around putting his face uncomfortably close to mine (I could smell the stale coffee) and said quietly and sternly: "I'm sorry WHAT did you say??"

I just praised him and walked quietly away.

The anser to your question is: He can do it, but I don't know how because I'm just human and am to afraid to ask questions in case I get hit or something.

Your not believing in God does not mean that His presence is no longer valid, for your humour can affect only you, and your philosophy acceptable to a limited circle. It must be stated, the reasons why you do not belive in God if YOU can pick numbers at random, thereby proving to us that you DO possess some form of intelligence 'randomly' installed.

Maybe that's why He made humans. Perhaps we are just a big random number generator to him. Any time He needs a random number He just counts the blades of grass, adds the number of human hairs and divides by the number of smoke particles He can see.

That might be the best definition of God: The largest random number generator in the universe.

Since God is all knowing, He cannot pick numbers randomly because he already knows the number before he picks it.

But since God is all-knowing, He knows how to pick numbers randomly whilst knowing the number before He picks it.

But since God is also omnipresent, He not only knows how to pick random numbers that He already knows, but He is also the very number He is picking.

....I think.

Nothing is random to God.

And since you initiated it, the fact that you don't believe in Him, doesn't mean that there's no God. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

"God" or "Jesus" or "Mohammed" or "E=Meter" or any other kind of religion is very subjective. There is no point in trying to convince any one else of a religious thought. Religion is by nature not interested in facts, it is interested in faith. Therefore, the entire concept of discussing religion is moot. That is why there is no answer to your question. ;-)

How do you ask questions about something that you don't believe in. If you truly believe that God doesn't exist then you surely need not ask questions . right?
