Since the divorce rate is so high, I would say that the "good guys" who have finished "last" especially in the dating scene have not really finished last. I would say that most of them came out ahead.
Love is grand, but divorce is 50 grand. You do the math.

good guys dont finish last, its just that every body else thinks its the end of the race and stops there. But good guys keep going till the end.

I believe this is a negative quote that tarnishes good men in general, so don't buy the hype as they say.
A good guy is remembered, sought after because he is smart, honest, funny or whatever good character he has outshines other men. Good guys are hard to find, and are rare, and they just don't advertise themselves like the bad boys.
Just remember God watches every good kind deed you do, and you will be rewarded tremendously, now, in the future or much later. Keep being good.
