What's the cheapest way to fly from Melbourne to London then back to Kuala Lumpur?

Is it possible to fly with one ticket? Say i take a flight from Melbourne to London that transits at Kuala Lumpur, so when i return can i just stop and get off at Kuala Lumpur?
Or are two one-way tickets more feasible?

Just sneek up to the plane and grab the landing gear when its ready to take off= Free :)
