In earlier years in this country there were no immigration rules. I think now we are going the other way towards more immigration rules. And if this country continues to go the way it has been going in another 50 years nobody is going to want to come here anyway.

Amnesty should not be granted until the crime that was committed is no longer a crime. For example, When prohibition laws were repealed in the U.S., convicts who were serving time for alcohol violations should have been released - since the sin that they committed was no longer a crime. Amnesty for illegal immigrants should be granted when all the countries who forbid illegal entry declare that illegal entry is no longer illegal. Those countries would include Mexico, of course.

Don't get your hopes up too high. The majority of Americans are firmly against any form of amnesty..That provision was dropped from the bill that is a dead issue at this point in time. The government is in recess until after the mid term elections in November. The voice that politicians hear in these elections will determine if another amnesty bill might be offered.Americans your vote is your voice ,so make your feelings clear to Washington ,just how we feel about
illegal immigration in November.
No amnesty
Deportation not legalization
for all illegals from any country.

Why would immigrants need amnesty?
Only ILLEGALS need amnesty and we are working hard to see that they don't get it.
Bottom line
Build the wall
Deport illegals
Punish anyone who aids an illegal
thank you

Never again!! Amnesty has already been given a couple of times. We were promised that the last time amnesty was given that it would be the LAST time it would happen.

Maybe when they send all of their criminal element back to where they came from, refuse to go on welfare, learn to speak English, buy insurance for their cars, stop demanding that their children be taught in their first language, pay for their own higher education, and become productive.

never. The law will not allow them to become instant citizens. They are going to have to pay fines and then apply just like everyone else.
