Vast array of restaurants (you could use a generally free guide to chose from), Broadway shows, museums, sports events, ice skating at Rockefeller Center, and, yes, Central Park too. Shopping and the bright lights. The question might be asked, what is there NOT to do? Good luck and enjoy!

Ice skating in Rockerfeller Center, Go see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, Talk a walk on Times Square. Shop at the Fashion District (7th Avenue). Take a tour bus around the city. Visit such attractions as Grand Central Station, Empire State Building. Attend a Broadway Show. Manhattan is the place to go and it's accesible by bus, train, or taxi.

I recommend BB King's Restaurant near Times Square.
Visit the Macy's department store - the largest one in the world.
Ice skating rinks have long lines - especially Rockefeller Center. Central Park is probably the same.
Visit the museums - many of them are open late in the winter.
Sneak into a diner to keep warm from those winds cascading down the avenues.
The list goes on....
