Don't want to give off the impression that I am something that I am not just to get attention. Advice? How do I send that message that I'm interested?

First off there isn't such a thing as an "ordinary girl." My advice to you is to find something you are both interested in and use that as a connection to start a relationship. For example if your both into reading or whatever. Then you are not being fake and you are giving him a chance for him to like you as who you are. And I agree with you on the not being the type of girl to give a false impression. When you do that and he falls for you chances are he likes you for what your not. So always be real, and if he isn't interested at least you aren't the one hiding.

Have u tried dressing up everywhere u go. Heels and make-up. Its not giving off the impression that your something your not.
If u look good u feel good and that sends a great vibe to other ppl. If u dont want to do that then dont wait for a guy to come up to you, take the first step its not 1870 anymore. Women chase men now. Go out c what u want and go for it. The worse thing that they can say is no. Rejection is not fun but u learn from it.

im the most ordinary girl on the planet no special job and not alot of money and no beauty either on the other scale my boyfriend is quite attractive and has one of socities best jobs the reason i mention jobs is often people class others according to there jobs.. personally i dont .. when i started dating him some colleagues were so jealous cuz im the average girl tried to mess it up by telling me to be careful... because they had been trying to date him before i came on the scene... didnt show him any interest .... and he showed it all.. now we have been going out for ages and are really happy so i dont see why not

Be yourself....and try not to be too shy because if it is going to be something in the long run they will see your true colors eventually. I have heard from a lot of guys that they love when a girl goes for what she wants! Good luck

If you want something you go for it. You devise anything you can think up in order to achieve your goal. Otherwise, you don't want it bad enough. If you coward out then you don't deserve it, and it will be up for grabs to the very same people you say you don't want to be like. Would you rather that person be up for grabs to that person, or to you who could give them much more? If you don't do it then you are doing this person who you like an injustice. Stand up for what you want.

you shouldnt have to send any message the right guy will just fall for you trust me i feel for a girl who had and still kinda has a messed up life and shes actually doing alot better plus on top of it looks shouldnt matter to a guy unless they just wanna screw u so yeah
