I ate a fly carcass. There was a spiderweb sinside my cabinet and apparently the spider emptied out the fly and dropped the carcass into a glass, which I then drank out of, I could feel it scraping down my throat! Ugh!!!

I didn't eat anything by accident but I did accidentally drink some liquid dish soap. I was at a BBQ and we had a keg of beer. I put my beer in a green plastic tumbler cup. I was standing at the kitchen sick eating and had set my cup by the sink. Needed a drink to wash down the burger so reached over and grabbed a green cup and took a BIG swing. I noticed that it was warm and seemed thick, that is when I discovered that it was not beer,it was liquid dish soap. It sure cleaned me out the next day. Was the worst tasting stuff but was the funniest thing that happened.

I was working at a one-day event at a college campus with my fiance. He went to take a break and while he was gone I noticed he left behind a Snapple Ice Tea that he started drinking already. Well, I was pretty thirsty at that point so I helped myself to some of it. As I was guzzling it down, he walked up behind me and said "Hey, where did you get that Snapple?" All of a sudden it registered that it was not his after all and I was drinking someone ELSE'S already-opened Snapple! This young college guy at the table turned around and said, "Oh, that's mine--I just put it down for a second and wondered where it went!" I explained what happened and apologized for the mistake and offered to buy him another. He said, "Oh, no, that's OK!" and then HE kept drinking it like nothing ever happened!

When I was a kid my mom would feed me boiled peanuts. I would eat the shell and spit out the peanuts. She didnt tell me what part I was supposed to eat she just said "Here try this." I saw everyone else popping the whole thing in their mouth and then spitting out something later. Boy did it hurt to take a crap. And then later as I had grown up some she did the same thing with blue crabs. And I ate the lungs and yuck. So I don't try new foods with her unless I do my own research.

I was at a party, it was dark and every time I walked passed the food I grabbed a few peanuts.
Then someone must have stubbed out a cigarette in the bowl, and I ate the nub end.

Well, when I was in kindergarden, I had a habit of putting coins in my mouth. Yeah, I know it is gross, but I didn't know about germs much then. I ended up swallowing a nickel. I had to go to the doctors office. They said it would eventually go down my throat. That was painful, and I learned from it right away!

One time I poured milk on a bowl of cereal at a relative's house. After I had eaten part of it I noticed that some of the little pieces floating on top were swimming around.

Rotten cranberry juice. The bottle was bought at the grocery that day...no date on it. Never bought that brand again.
