I really want to make my hair curly but I really don't want a perm if it's not socially acceptable. Is there a perm that does more relaxed curls?

PERMS ARE FOUL. Perms dont make your hair look nice and naturally curly/wavy and flowy. It gives the same uniform curl all over. It's not a nice look and it's so horrible for your hair. Perm solution is deadly. Buy a set of hot rollers and get practising on them. Its a much easier and NICER look then a perm. Perm's were for the 80's!!

Don't do it! I am serious..i am telling you this from experience. I permed my hair almost 3yrs ago, and i am still paying my dues. The perm left my hair damaged, and now i finally decided to grow new hair out there for i cut my hair short-short, so my advice will be for you to look a good product that can curl hair but not perm!

Perms can be performed to create a wide range of wave patterns in the hair - from large loose waves to small, tight ringlets. The determining factor is the size and type of tool the hair is wrapped on before the chemicals are applied.

With the proper wrapping technique and use of tools, a good stylist can create a curly style for you that looks natural.

OK it is really fun to get your hair curled but the problem is that after you apply those perm creams your hair gets really think and weak.
If you go to a professional hair salon they might give you some special creams to take care of your hair, since the process transform the natural hair structure.

Keep in mind that a perm isn't always suited for everybody. You may just want a body wave and let the some natural hair stay straight:)

yes u can get a perm, even if its colored. they make perms for color treated hair. if u want just a wave u can have that too, just depends on the size rod that is used. it could break the hair down a bit, if your hair is damaged be very careful a perm could do more damage.

You bypass to a salon and the stylist will use a chemical answer to regulate the chemical makeup of your hair. For a curly perm he will use rollers to set it, then wash it. For a rapidly perm (relaxer), he will prepare the answer then blow dry it rapidly after washing. the hazards are hair harm so in case you have had a selection of of tactics (inclusive of coloring) it extremely isn't any longer cautioned. Do coloring at a later date. "Perm" purely ability everlasting. it extremely is an enduring replace on your hair's shape and could desire to be grown out.

I wouldn't because about a month after the perm, your hair becomes dry and brittle and unmanageable.
