I'm wodering if a creditor sees an updated credit report every time they report to the bureaus.I have some negative information that should come off soon because the origonal creditor has finally submitted the proper insurance information. The cards that I have review for a credit limit increase periodically and I have an EXCELLENT payment history with all of them.Do they also use updated information?I do see all of these companies under the section under "inquiries viewed only by you" leading me to believe there is a soft inquiry every month when they report. Please only answer if you know for sure.I'm also wodering if insurance inquiries show up as hard inquiries as well if you have that information but the former is of more importance to me.

I am aware of how often the reports are updated because I check mine every day. Please stay on topic for the rest of you telling me about updates.I've seen new information on my Experian report on several consecutive days with the entries dated on the previous day.I asked that you only answer if you know. Some seem to while others just give me wrong information.

When your card do a periodic review to see if they want to increase credit they CAN and usually do view your latest credit report to help them make their decision. Some cards do not view your latest report and go based solely on your payment history with them. This is usually not the case with most of the creditors so the true answer to your question is: Maybe. Check with your credit card company to be certain.

When you are in good standings, creditors generally don't check your credit unless they have a reason to such as the above situation. If you are late, however, they will check it frequently to make sure you are getting bad marks from them.

There is no real true answer because you are asking about all card companies in general, and some do check monthly and some don't. I guess the best thing I can say outside of checking with them is that they LEGALLY CAN check your credit every day if they want to. You signed a contract giving them this ability.

Credit bureau records are updated constantly. I pulled my credit report yesterday and it had reports from my creditors for September. If you have anything that has a monthly due date, your credit report is updated each time that lenders payment is due. You can go to annualcreditreport.com to view all three credit bureau reports.

Credit bureaus only update about every 3 months so you will have to call and make sure it is done now. They will not do much of anything without pressure. I paid off a couple of things that I got behind on after a car wreck and it took me 4 months to get them off and they told me that updates are missed alot. Good Luck
