They're such wimps! They leave it years to go and when they do make an appointment, they sit worrying that they'll have to have loads of teeth out, because they've put off going so long. It's their own fault.

Not just men. I have a serious dental phobia. My dentist gives me Valium to take before I even leave the house! I'd never walk in there otherwise.Then they gas me and tell jokes, {good dentist huh??} There's no pain, and by the time I leave I'm completely stoned. And yet still ...I hate it!!

My husband is the other way around lol i was the one making going to the dentist a big deal.. but lately i have been going and its not all that bad i just think about how it will look when they are done. and i have a better smile. and not feel embarrased when i smile.

Some men are such bit wussy babies. My ex-husband only went when I made him go and now that we are no longer married all his teeth rotted out. Yuck!

They don't like Doctors period. They hate feeling vulnerable and having to talk about their problems. A weird gender indeed!

I have to agree with you, I have watched them squirm and cry and get sick and have to leave. They don't have much of a pain tolerance at all. I used to laugh and call them big sissies when they were in the chair for the way they act.

not all men. my boyfriend does not mind going, and neither does my son. I on the other hand get sick to my stomach for 24 hours before I have to go, even if it is just for a cleaning or to have the bands on my braces changed.

They make big deals about going to ANY Doctor.
Its always if I don't hurt there's nothing for them to fix. Its a crazy cycle with them.
