of getting the tourism visa by saying the truth????
my situation is that soon (Oct 16th) i am going to this embassy meeting to try to get the visa to travel to the states. my bf's family is sending me this letter (which in subject his mom wrote me that i know his sister and they are inviting me to go there... )for my bday(we thought that if we say that his my bf ... they would think i'll try to stay and dont come back)... we all wish that i can get it. they are becoming the person-in-charge of me while im there,; Obviously im going with some money for myself. everything will be so legal. i will be back in my country (dominican Rep.) in 1 week after.
what are your wish for me?
by the way im 19 years old, with a good job and very nice salary.... i just lack 2 years and half to finish my career...

Beaware that U.S. Customs can deny you entry even if the embassy gives you the visa. just tell the truth and say you are visiting friends for your birthday and have no desire to remain in the United States and that you have your family and responsibility back in the Domincan Rep. Its no guarentee but it might work for you.

why do you feel the need to lie about going to visit a friend.. sounds like a bad idea to ask or accept a lie from his parents if you truly like him you would never have accepted this whole silly idea about lying.. be honest and say you are taking a vacation... a relationship based on lies can never prosper..

finish your schooling then go and stay over there dont abandon your plans for you own future now for anyone.
always try to stand on your own it more attractive and finish you degree that extremly attractive.
remember make you priorities and keep them dont change them for anyone for love does come and go and your still young so do it while your young and easier.
