My boyfriend is very afraid of dogs.I want to help him and I haven't found something that can help me help him. ;)

Sit with him in a room with a puppy for mabout an hour or as long as he can stand to be in there for. Do that every week and eventually sit him with larger dogs or start to maake him sit alone. You could always try taking him to a park that is popular with dogs. :-)

Is this a new boyfriend?? Maybe, he is afraid of the dog seeing him for what he really is. Or maybe he just says it's fear, when what he really wants is for you to get rid of the dog. Yes, this may sound a bit cynical. But, if it comes down to the dog or him??? Keep the dog.

Have him watch "The Dog Whisperer," which is a weekly series. This guy shows you how to get a dog into submission using body language. I've seen this guy do this with a really mean Rottweiler and within a few minutes the dog was in complete submission to him.

Get him a dog...but he has got to want to get rid of the phobia or he will get rid of the dog.

He can only help himself... phobias are mental so he's going to have to find a way to work through his fears... tell him I said he is a sissy and see if that helps, lol!

try the vanquish fear&anxiety.com or ctrn.com they really work or try going to a hypnotize.or work with him little by little,having him be around dogs.maybe start with 2min then work your way up,pretty soon he will be wanting a dog.
