if found, what is the penalty for a nation to have WMD?

using the main pundit of propaganda against the us, Fox News, or 'Tricky' Ricky Santorum (character is quite shady) as a quote for facts just doesn't hold water. In the JJ quote it says the chem. weapons found were not what they were looking for, in fact what they did find was sold to them from US or allies, and we knew they had those. What they are looking for, weapons that posed a valid threat to the US, has not been found and all the hype by Faux News has been rescinded and found to be pentengon news plants, or US tax dollars used to fabricate stories and pass them off as news using Clear Channel, Fake News or other 'we report, you decide' mediums

Yes, we're also fighting "the war on drugs." And my Daddy's gonna buy me a pony. Uh huh, yep he is! Well, guess what, we found WMD in North Korea. The penalty is NIL. Our country is getting to be a joke in my eyes. So many soldiers injured and killed, so many civilians gone over lies and shortfalls. Yeah, me and my pony'll ride away from it all.

No. Our intel and the General al Tikriti have placed Saddam's WMD in Syria now. The Russians and French stalled the invasion long enough to assist Saddam's regime in moving it into Syria. This is not made public for several reasons, most of which have to do with politics. Bureaucrats run our nation and only care that they keep their seats in congress. There is hope that George W Bush will continue to not care about how he is viewed and will act on our intel. It is not looking likely.

the US is not looking anymore for the weapons..the intellgence our whole country received was that iraq had WMD...this was not accurate..the penalty is destroying the weapons within a time frame, otherwise action is taken against that country...if people think this country is a joke..why dont they just move out of it..several other countries out there to go to...then maybe you will realize how good you have it now

I'm sure the US gave up on WMD's now they realised they acted on "false intelligence." (if there was any evidence in the first place.)

There are no penalties, unless you are referring to the UN. I'm not entirely sure about UN's policies on this, but be aware that the UN --cannot-- enforce anything.. it is just a organisation for discussion, defusal and negotiation.

However, if WMDs were found, they would probably be used as evidence against Saddam Hussien in his current trial.

No, that is not the US' main concern at this time. However, if they happen to stumble across one in the future.. by all means.. yes. :)

A penalty? Complete disarming of that said nation's military.. which has already happened with Sadaam's military in Iraq if this is what you are referring to.

Coffee just came out of my nose. There are none, or didn't you get that memo. I think the US military is pretty bright, for the most part, anyway. If they did exist, they would have been found and distroyed long ago.

truth be known, there were WMD's found. The story was buried, then it was minimized, because it give politicians one more talking point, the press more stories, and the democratic supporters one more false accusation.
