Is she a "chewer"? Is she known to eat things that are non-digestible like sticks, rocks, socks? The anorexia and "hard tummy" are certainly distressing symptoms and you should take her to a vet immediately. Don't give her anything...no food, water, or laxatives. The vet should take a radiograph and determine the cause of her symptoms and decide if a laxative can help or if she will need surgery.

I am not a vet, so I can't say for sure. There are many reasons why this could happen. If your dog is constipated
they will be this way sometimes. And though I don't want you to panic, this is also one of the first signs of Parvo.
Untill you get your dog to a vet, get some green gatorade
and make ice cubes. Rub the cube on your dogs mouth, they automatically lick their mouth. Keep doing this, as it will keep your dog from dehydrating. It turned out that even though my dog had "just" received her parvo shots, she had parvo! Get your dog to a vet ASAP! Good-luck.

Stomach being hard you may want to have her seen by a vet. Small dogs really don't eat much but try to give her something real special. (hamburger) If she doesn't eat it get her to the vet she sounds blocked. They will probably need to xray and possible surgery.
It is possible if you get her before things move to her intestines they can induce vomiting to get it out. But not knowing what may be there via online you need to have someone else make that call.

I'm going with Rick on this one... she ate something and she's plugged up. I hope you realize that when that happens, the dog could very easily die. So personally I'd be calling the vet and get off the computer. It's like the bloat... she gets plugged up, the gases build up in her stomach and the toxins work their way into the blood stream.

I would definitely take her to the vet. Since she is not eating, tummy is hard, and her nose is warm. May not be anything serious, but it is better to be on the safe side, I don't know any home remedies for that.
Good Luck to you.....

Take your dog to the vet immediately! If you can't afford it, take her and make some kind of payment arrangements. Most vets will work with you. She needs to see the vet today!
