Children, teenagers and adults. It's an all American snack food, especially with a cold glass of milk. Some have loads of sugar which I consider terrible for young kids because they do not need that extra jolt of energy that makes them hyperactive. But, the oatmeal with raisins and peanut butter cookies are good and nutritious. They are good as an afterschool snack or desserts or just eat them because you want to. You can use them in desserts(pie crusts), put ice cream between them, put chocolate bits (M&M's), nuts, dates, figs, etc. in them. Use them in holidays like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, decorating them. You can have fun making them, have your children help.

My husband LOVES them! I have over 2000 different recipes for them of all types. His co-workers love it when i get on a baking kick because I wont bake unless I can make 10 dozen or more.

In my home they are usually eaten by two kids I've never laid eyes on, named "Idontknow" and "Notme", and they have two cousins named "Itwasher" and "Itwashim" who have been known to help out.
