Pepper pregnancy test.

Tell guests you read an old wives' tale about a pregnancy test they did long ago. In preperation (and secret) fill several sty bowls with water mixed with dish liquid, but make sure there are no bubbles in it. Make guests believe it is only water. Fill a few other bowls with plain water. Have a pepper shaker handy. Shake some pepper into one of the soap bowls. Have the prego dip her finger in it. The pepper will scatter. Now the fun part. Ask others to take the preg test, to test it and make sure it really works. Pick next an older woman whom you know there is no way could be pregs. Do the same test in a plain water bowl. The pepper will not spred. Do the plain water test a couple of times with different people. Then do a test on someone who could be pregs (at the appropriate age and is sexually active) with a soap water bowl. This is quite funny, but don't let the positive test go on for more than five minutes.

It's not a real or even accurate "test". It's just an old wives tale and the chances of it being right are 50/50. Don't count on that test.

I heard you are supposed to pluck a strand of your hair, then hang the wedding ring on that over your belly. I'm not sure which direction of swinging or spinning is supposed to signify which sex though.

auld mom has it right...and as far as the pepper thing.......I do not think that is such a good idea what if the person you pick for the other test is trying to get pregnant after seeing you do it she really might think it is true and works ....this could leave to major heart break
