Sometimes relationships require compromise. Time to tell mom and dad there are decisions that you want to make, or at least have some input with.... Doing "whatever they want", like chores or finishing school should never be an issue. Neither should respect. Take the steps toward adulthood responsibily. Do not jeapordize yourself and most parents can live with kids growing up. And thank God every day that you have people in your life who even consider what might be best for you and are willing to back that up.

Live my own life, and dissapoint my parents, im sorry but even though they think they always know what's best for me, it really may not be, i am not gonna make myself unhappy to make my parents happy! I'll try to compromise, but if my mom just doesnt want to, well then that's her.

Got to live life for yourself. In the end, you are the only one who can make you happy. Your parents might want whats is best for you and all. Its in their job description, but at the end of the day, you have to be able to look yourself in the face and know you live life for you . Once you know you control your life and destiny and you live it for you, you will become a better person in life in general. If you do what your parents want, you will eventually find bitterness towards them for trying to control you and you might lose that relationship with them..
Live your life for you . the parents might be upset right now, but they forgive eventually, thats in their job sescription also :)

If living your own life is something illegal or harmful then I would look to my parents for advice. However, we all have to do what makes us fulfilled, not what makes our parents complete.

you need to live the life that you are happy and comfortable with....its always nice for you parents to be supportive but you still need to do what you want to do.......youll be surprised as to how far you have to go to actually be a disappointment in any parents eye.......Most parents will be happy providing their child is happy.......

It's your life and you have the right to do what makes you happy. If you can't do this because you really feel guilty and it is important to you that you make them happy, maybe you can compromise with them.

I live my own life and do exactly what I want. If others don't like it, too bad. They're not so perfect and need to worry about themselves.
