Tuna Sandwich
1/4 of white onion, thinly sliced
1/8 of a small red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus additional for drizzling
1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar, plus additional to taste
1/4 teaspoon salt, plus additional
Black pepper
1 (6-ounce) can tuna packed in oil
Lemon juice, to taste
2 Kaiser rolls, plain
Lettuce leaves
8 tomato slices
6 to 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
olives, pitted
Scallions, chopped
Radishes, sliced
Combine the red and white onion with 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and several grinds of black pepper in a bowl. Using your hands, mix and squeeze everything together for 5 minutes. (Don't rush through this part; the onions need time to release their juices and mellow.)
Work in tuna in olive oil, including the oil. Season with fresh lemon juice, red-wine vinegar, and salt, then add pepper to taste.
Cut kaiser rolls in half crosswise and spread each bottom half with lettuce leaves. On top of each lettuce layer, arrange 4 tomato slices Then add about half the tuna mixture and 3 to 4 slices of hard-boiled egg and olives. Chopped scallion greens, and sliced radishes.

This is the way I make mine. Feel free to try it. Sometimes I don't even eat it on bread but instead have it on some shredded lettuce.
Can tuna in water (drained)
tomatoes diced
celery diced
green onion sliced thinly
cilantro chopped
lemon (2-3 tablespoons or more)
dill pickles diced
salt/pepper
mayo
Mix all the ingredients together. I find that if I add the tuna in first with the lemon juice it kills some of the really fishy taste. Then I add the rest in and only enough mayo to bring it together. I usually use light may also. I enjoy this on 12 grain or 7 grain bread. Hope you like it.

1. The tuna salad. Mix in mayo, dill relish, hot sauce, a dash of lemon, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, chopped onion.
2. Toast some nice whole grain bread, or use pita halves.
3. Put tuna on the bread, cover liberally with jalapeno slices [from a jar]. Jalepeno and tuna go very good together.

1: use tuna in water ( not greasy) ALbacore if ya like fancy
2: add small amounts of mayo or mircle whip ( salad dressing)
I prefer the mircle whip Till it gets to a consistancy you like.,
taste if if not sure, remember, you can always add more, but you can't take it out.
3: add some diced pickles to taste ( or pickle juice if in a hurry, again little at a time)
4: diced onion ( finely chopped)
( 3+4 give slight crunch to it)
I like a little parma. cheese ( spinkle kind)
seen people use iceberg lettuce for more crunch.
breadd of your choice, but the stonger tasting bread, the more tuna you wanna put on.
I like plain cheap white bread myself,
but the wife swears by white potato bread by aunt millies.
