I work in a hospital. The department next to mine does research in to diseases and stuff and they have those massive uber-freezers, you know, the ones that go to something like -150degrees.
I just walked past on that simply had "HEADS" written on it. It has a padlock on it so I can't open it. Weird, eh?

what you do is cut off someone elses head in the hospital and see if they scoop it up and put it in there!

I agree it is kind of weird, I also would have tried to look, but I think if it was padlocked, I would try to make a friend in that department that would let me take a peek.

Nope. How else would med school students and residents learn if they didn't have something to cut on? Frozen heads can be sliced thin, preserved, and used ror later study.Having actual Alzheimers tissue to work with is far better than a computer image or textbook.

No, is it the pathology department? They can keep heads for experiments, feet and other things in there. they keep this things to find out why someone die or if it is a teaching hospital, for the doctors to practice on them. It is a very normal thing to find in hospitals.
