The side of your eye has a black spot? It could be a patch where the blood vessels died due to an eye injury.

Or your eyesight has a black spot? A patch in your field of vision which is simply black? Is this only in one eye or is it in both?

In either case you must see your eye doctor. It could be a progressive problem which will get worse as time goes on if you don't get treatment. This could be early onset blindness occuring The eye doctor will be able to tell you for sure.

If you have a black spot in front of you eye, it is probably a 'floater' which is harmless.

But an eye doctor will know for sure and you should see one.
