The last I heard, it would pay for that training only if it were part of a degree program such as offered by Embry-Riddle. The G.I. Bill's education program is geared towards career education, not recreation.

As long as you go to an accredited flight school or a college offering flight school, then yes it is.

Also remember that you will have the Tuition Assistance ($4,500) as well as the MGIB ($297/mo)

It will pay for your ground schooling. The flight training is all on you.

graduated from Embry riddle GI bill will only pay continued education Degree (the actual fight time is of your own pocket)as someone else posted not for recreational purpose)

The GI Bill will pay for any ACCREDITED schooling.
