I'm also interested in similar words, like profit made from the suffering of others, or from carelessness of consequences, etc. I only want real words or ... at least plausible words, like latin constructs that may not have ever been used but would be understandable to someone familiar with latin.

Not a word but a phrase exists in Hindi?Urdu which translates as : Selling shroud off the dead bodies.

The word profit means to gain or add to as in money to put to something. Example: I had $5.00 and I made a profit of $10.00 It was put to the $5.00 and now you have gainied. BB
