Without any other symptoms listed, the cause could be bacterial, fungal or chemical sensitivities (from toothpaste, candy dyes, alcohol, tobacco, hot foods, etc). It is possible that you are deficient in B vitamins (called avitaminosis), or other nutritional
abnormalities. Have your Doctor run some tests for Avitaminosis.
If these are your only symptoms, and the condition limits itself to your mouth, it may be what is called glossitis.
Hope that helps some, at least you have something to ask the doctor to test you for and if it is a vitamin deficiency, then it is simply a matter of boosting your vitamin intake.
You may want to change to a natural toothpaste, or even use baking soda and salt for a while to see if it subsides. Post again
if it doesn't get better or if it is followed by other symptoms.

Wow I never heard of that but since Lupus is a tricky disease you might ask the dr. to test for that. I do know people go on for years with problems that dr.dont know what's wrong. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can mimic other things and can affect the body anywhere. Good luck

Dr.house is a fictional character he can resolve any scientific case which would be solved by making use of a actual ordinary practitioner. As no one has got here across a scientific look after HIV, i do no longer think of a British comedian is going to be waiting to discover the scientific care.

It is impossible (and dangerous) to depend on the replies you will get here.
Find another doctor or go to a skin specialist or ENT consultant.
