the effects of indigestion, i get this really terrible pain through my chest and back until i get into positions and it feels like trapped air insidde,it hurts and i hate it..any explanations appreciated ,how and why and cure ..thanks

The only time I have ever felt pain like you describe was when I had gall bladder attacks...the pain in the chest and back. See you doctor right away..nothing to fool with.

It is probably your gall bladder. Indigestion don't normally go into the back but a gall bladder will make you think you are having a heart attack because it feels like it goes straight through to your back and is painful. Go to the dr and have a gall bladder test run. Rolaids don't help much but help a little, I know it sounds gross but a tablespoon of baking soda with about an inch of water stirred together will help quicker than anything I found.

I would get this checked out by a doctor- there are many possiblilities it could be, from acid refux, gallstones, ulcer, hernia... or possibly heart problems such as angina. Not trying to alarm you, but this is probably something a doctor should evaluate, just to be on the safe side. Not to mention, it sounds like you are hurting, and he/she will probably be able to pin down a cause pretty quick, and get you some medicine to alleviate your painful symptoms. indigestion maybe acid reflux. try prilosec otc or see a doctor.
