The explanation given is over-simplified. Which branch of Christianity is better for Peace.

All religions are supplied with prophets who brought the law of treating others the way which one expects to be treated. All any individual has to do is practice the observance of this rule.

Do not believe the media hype. Read history. Villians are created by the victimizers for material gain. American History & British History is replete with examples.

The reported rift is not what the news media presents. This supposed rift, is not everywhere, only in certain locations, for reasons that have nothing or little to do with religion.

I think religion = peace.
Why should a branch be made in the first place?

For a person in need of peace, its like running back to a house, instead of a home.

U have to choose which house to be in :S

I believe in God. But I dont understand why there needs to be competition on who will get to him first.

God loves all, forgives all, wants everybody to be happy and live.

Islam has no branch, the prophet of islam did not teach any sectionalisation, racism, superiority and the likes. what he taught was equality. He said a muslim is a brother to muslim wherever he is. He also said that if two muslim pull out swords against each other, the one killed and the who killed both will go to hell. They asked why will the one killed go to hell? he answered because he too has the intention of killing the other.
All these killings, segregations and sectionalisation where done by people the reason best known to them, it is contrary to the teachings of islam.

The way you ask the question leads one to believe that none of the "branches" of Islam are peaceful.

Let me TELL YOU this Mama. There is ONLY ONE Islam. Shia, Sunni, Sufi all this you heard of are branches, meaning they all COME UNDER ONE RELIGION, UNDER ONE BELEIF, which is Allah as of their god, and Muhammad as his massenger. DO BE BRAIN WASHED, by the Western media. Go to any Muslim country, you WILL NOT tell who's Shia, Sunni, Suf. Everyone is the SAME.

Please indicate why you ask before any thinking Muslim will answer. It seems your intentions are to provoke, but I do not want to assume.

My brothers and sisters in Islam: Hold fast to the rope of Allah, and do not be segregated.
