It's because you sweat under it. Rub some powder on your wrist in the area of your watch, use a corn starch based powder, like Gold Bond or something. That will prevent the stink somewhat. I'm not sure how to remove the smell, maybe you could use some kind of leather cleaner, or get a new band and just keep that one clean. It's also good to not wear it every day so it has a day between wearings to breathe and air out.

There ar soem cosmetics that you get for this . But keep it in Sun , dry it and always use it in dry environment . Donot use leather watch in moist environment

good question mine stinks i,ve tryed rubbing deodarent on works for a while i,ve rubbed the strap with soapy water nothing seems to work maybe talc i think i,ll try that
