Wots going on, this is J&R. Shirley you mean what is sick humour. Making fun of people having a horrendous time (death, disease, deformity, sexual abuse) or bodily functions or racism - they do tend to add an extra element but should be kept between friends, and not stated in public where they often cause offence.

sick means un-balanced as a pervert is sick in the head,
sick means not at ones normal status ie sore head,cold etc.
