Thank you for this question.
As far as the beginning of Ramadhan goes, you can start your observance this year with actually trying to see the crescent yourself. This is a wonderful thing to do and it will begin to connect you with the wonderful world that Allah has created for us. Part of being muslim is to be aware of the natural order of things and the rhythms of the moon and the sun. I have done this for the past three years now and there is a great feeling of exhilaration at the sigting! If you cannot do that, then follow what is being done in your country and do not worry about what any other "authorities" say about when the start and the finish is.
For me, Ramadhan is like the visit of my best friend. One whom I have known for many years and comes to visit once each year. I make preparations and plans far in advance to ready my heart for the visit. Wanting everything to be ready when it happens. While my friend is here I want to spend every moment in deep relationship, making every moment count knowing that all too soon the visit will be over.
And when it is over I am so sad, hoping that I have made the stay as fruitful and glorious as possible but always wishing the stay could go on far longer than it does. And already wishing for the next year's visit once again.
And Allah knows best.
Peace and blessings,
Salim

for persons who paintings a nicely-known 9-5 activity, Saturday. useful you could bypass out on Friday, yet you're already drained from the paintings week. A Saturday occasion or night on city provides the suitable of the two worlds--you're rested adequate to have the suitable time, and you do no longer could be to paintings in the morning.

That’s not a bad question, its original and everything. Well, I’m going to be away from my family this Ramadan, so the whole festive spirit will be lost on me. But rather than wallow in my own misery about how I’m going to be alone in Ramadan, i will try to get involved with some kind of charity organization that reaches out to the poor. Stops me from whining you see, it will make me fully realize that there are other people who are far worse off than i am. That’s it. That’s what I’m going to do. Hope you do something on the same wavelength.

Im very excited.
It is either saturday or sunday, if im not wrong
As for the entertainment of dancing and singing in the media, to me it is absolutely wrong and very2 inappropriate. Not just in Ramadan, even in other month.

Salam im quite excited ramadan is coming up, although every day is a good to be more pious ramadan gives an added bonus with higher rewards. About such programmes of dancing and singing i too dislike them! And they especially shouldnt be aired during our holy month of ramadan. Thanks and take care Insha'ALLAH.

Ramadan is a blessed month and it brings with it peace, happiness and joy.
It'll be work as usual for me, iftar at the office and then head to the mosque for taraweeh.
Peace.

Having a nice roast pork with all the trimmings, feeding the goats, and a bit of wailing should go down a treat
