Have you real historical evidence for your claims or do you just repeat revisionist anti-catholic propaganda?

Why don't we hear any citicism on for example the American Civil war, or the Armenian genocide?

I don't deny there was bloodshed but I think the numbers often cited are blow out of proportion.

These are examples of the inability of men to rule themselves, that Christians refuse to acknowledge. As for proof consider the lack of help for the Jews in WWII interment camps. Only last week, did the Catholic Church acknowledge their roles in these. They also blessed the weapons used by German solders.

The American civil war was primarily a result of the Little Ice Age and the South controlling the majority of food production, but it was Christians killing Christians.

Neither the Catholic, or the Greek Orthodox Churches, came out against the wholesale slaughter of Muslims in the Balkans.

I do not know much about this issue but there is one thing that many seem to ignore. Slavery trade has taken place for about 400 yrs and was authorized by the Catholic Church. This is the greatest genocide that has ever occured throughout history. You have here the biggest historical evidence ever...

Read the History of Christianity. You will find the history of wars were when the kings or political leaders either took the Catholic religion over. That is why Church and State should be separate.

Yes the proof is there. They even taught us about it in catholic school so I doubt if you label of revisionist anti-catholic is a logical conclusion.

Unless of course the nuns who taught us this were anti-catholic revisionists, which I find highly unlikely.

As for your comparison to other conflicts. Excuse me If I expect more from the religion that claims to speak in the name of Jesus, than I do from other sources.

Read up and wise up.

The church has suppressed the truth for hundreds of years, and kept people illiterate and poorly educated so that it can retain control. It seems nothing has changed, christians still seem illiterate and poorly educated.

Learn to read, use your newly found skill and look at some history books.

They are parrots who repeat trendy things. American Civil War is one of them. No civil war, partner. That's revisionist crap.

Too many refuse to let go of past hurts, real or imagined. We are all equally guilty of such things. Remeber too that much has been warped when it was recorded. So many falsehoods and twisted truths.

The church doesnt hide the information. go and ask them, they still justify many things to this day.

Many books have been destroyed, and attempted to be destroyed. Where did they all go ?

And i mean, every war is horrible, but the Church killed more people then any other institution or war.
