I am amazed at the way our muslim brethern react to anything or anyone who dares to say anything about their prophets,
The scenes of the last week are nothing short of disgracefull and should be condemmend from all sides, their religion demands peace and fair living with tollerance to all others??????
Im afraid they let themselves down badly on most occasions,Peacefulness is more difficult during times of problems and events that you dont like, anyone can be good when things are going well,, the true test of a peacefull religion is when things are going wrong,,
i suggest our muslim brethern practice what they preach.
Im not saying the rest of us are blameless but they do over react greatly and dangerously with very little provocation..
ps I am a non catholic just in case people think i am defending the pope, he should stick to what he knows and leave other out of his speech.
thanks
peace to all who crave it

I am a muslim but i agree to this question .....The ppl who call themselves our leaders usually ignite dis hatred...Be it maulvis, imams or any other leaders..the majority of muslims want 2 live peacefully....but because of wrong doings done by others they are looked at with hatred and den dey also tend 2 become avengers...........We, as muslims should try and solve all matters as peacefully as possible.......its not necessary that we should talk about jehad and bloodshed on every small matters.........We should be aware that whatever step one group of ppl will take ,, the whole muslim community will be blamed 4 that........so we should not do anything which brings bad name 2 our religion......i hope i hvnt hurt the sentiments of my own muslim brothers by putting down my feelings

Do you know how many Muslims there are in the world, I will give you a clue more than 10. What you have said is akin to saying that the BNP represent all the white people in the UK. Hopefully people like you, the Queen and the Pope will fade into the background as you lot have had your chance. Their is no place for your views in a modern Scotland. Talk about stating the obvious " ps I am a non catholic" no s h i t. Sherlock.

Many christians here do the same. You must admit that the comments that the pope made were inflamatory and silly. We have progressed a long way from the 14th century (well some of us anyway) and quoting an opinion from this period was misguided

i am a muslim and i do agree a bit that muslims do react out of proportion-remember the pictures of the prophet mohamed(s.a.w) printed in the danish newspaper-i did got upset by it and so did other millions of other muslims round the world.

All i wanted to hear from the Danish newspaper was an apology for their dumbheaded decision to print those pics-and they did apologise for their stupidity.
Unfornately, muslims refused to accept the apology-that was when everything got out of control!!!

Muslims shouting abuse, destroying buildings, burning european and american flags-people even died-this situation lasted for months!!!

I dont want this situation to happen all over again!!!!!!

AAH the HELL wit this world-we all over react!!!!!

see you and everybody else knows that things like this happen but people still find ways and topics to do this over and over again so why just don't they stop saying things they know will bring muslims to get angry.
I cried for days after those cartoons were published because i was so disapointed, but no one from those who did it would care about things like this, now will they, and they expect everyone to be like me to hide these feelings and let others to make fun and insult something or someone I belive in. They have to stop it and don't blame us for that

I think it shows how borderline insane some of them are. They live in an environment of fear and distrust; paranoid schizophrenia. This is so typical of mob mentality and their backwards nature of upbringing in the middle east. I don't believe this is rampant everywhere though. poverty seems to degrade them to acting this way as if by instinct. It would be interesting to see what percentage is really effected this way. Very sad. We are not immune from this ourselves though as shown in our bizarre actions after major games. It would appear that other forces were at work with the Popes speech. After years of advice to another Pope who gives him advice now a football coach?

Assalamu Alaikum i of path gets mad. and the different hand i'm going to attend and notice. the Prophet PBUH have been given insulted and Allah grew to become into insulted and His faith. the Prophet grew to become into affected person. it didnt supply up him from spreading the message. i'm going to forgive the guy or i wouldnt care. Allah will tutor His rath , he will scare them, and could make Hell fire thier homestead for ever. i wouldnt ever insult yet another faith because of the fact Allah forbidden that. think of approximately it would u like while a guy or woman insults ur faith . then how might that guy or woman experience if u insulted thier faith. plus if u insult thier faith it is going to benefit greater enemys for Islam (we've already got greater suitable than adequate enemys). i'm going to purpose to comprimise with the guy, and notice if he/she will like thier faith to be insulted, themselves , thier God , and thier maximum dearest element. and that i'll asked them civilly to offer up insulting my faith. Wassalmu Alaikum.

Why do must people insult their leader since they know that they are sensitive about such issue? Most people do that to get their reaction and when they react they get blamed for reacting.

SO PRACTISE WHAT U PREACH AND PREACH WHAT U PRACISE.
