I'm putting together a wedding documentary and I'd like to know what moments will be most important to highlight for the audience.

The Ceremony:
Seating of the mothers
The bridesmaids processional
The bridal processional
Any special things included, i.e. lighting of the unity candle, exchanging of the rings, prayers, blessing, etc...
The "first" kiss
Presentation of the couple
The processional out of the church

The Reception:
Any toasts made
The dances, i.e. Bride/Groom first dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, best man and bride, groom and maid of honor, any line or silly dances, last dance, etc...
Cutting the cake
Tossing the bouquet
Removal of the garter
Tossing the garter
The "Exit" of the bride and groom

Mainly just keep rolling as much as you can, then you can edit out the less important stuff later. You never know where a romantic or silly moment will pop up unplanned at weddings. People drink a little more, they dance a little wilder, and in general, act more open and free than they normally do since it's such a huge celebration.

Good Luck!

I've always said that the wedding isn't actually that important- it's the marriage that you should concentrate on!
