Well, we don't know. There are different hypotheses, but any one of them can be true, we just don't know. You don't know either. The fact that we don't know is not proof of the existence of a god, it's just proof that we don't know.

1. who assumes an identity, how about what.
2. to form something out of nothing energy is needed..... where did you get this idea from? Things observed inside this universe does not carry over to what happened before the big bang.
3. Who made energy, space, time matter.... I dont know but this answer sure beats choosing an answer that has no validity.
4. I really, my Fiffle states that "in the beginnning (time), The spaghetti monster created the heavens (Space) and the earth (matter). Prove my book wrong without stating yours is simply more right.
Earth takes up space and matter and time to create, why list earth under matter only.
...dont just assume that metaphorically it works out that it is right.

I am not an evolutionist but may I answer?
The universe nor anything else can come from nothing, it's worse than believing magic, with magic at least you have a magician and a hat.
If you believe things just apeared then why havent people found a horse in their living room or an elephant in their coffee? Why has their never been any notice of anything just happening without a cause?
A theory should be plausible, in some way, your science should make sense.
What does make sense is that God made everything that was made. This is the only thing that makes sense.
Look at the kalam principle and think for yourselves. Don't blindly follow science that has no real answer.
I hate to use a muslim principle or philosiphy to prove or argue a Christian view but Satan tried to use scripture against Christ so I guess it's all fair.

What is GOD? Is he the space existing outside of the space he created. Is he a moving being. Is there any intelligence to GOD? The only way I could agree that God created all is if God is nothing more than a energy impulse in all things and everything in existence from the ants, to the avatars are all God. If that were the case no worship would be needed because if I am God then I don't need to worship myself? Did you create the Universe?

Hi!
WHAT IS AMAZING IS THAT MOST PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT THE FACTS ABOUT GOD ARE SO RUDE...this is proof that God exists because those who were like them CHANGED after they accepted Christ as their personal Savior.
WANT PROOF THAT THERE IS SATAN?LOOK AT SOME AT SOME OF RUDE ANSWERS HERE...THOSE WHO DO NOT SEEK THE TRUTH EVIDENTLY SHOW IN THEIR SPEECH...
I mean you asked a simple question and some of them began to eat you up!
The Fossil Record (Updated 3 July, 2005)
Darwin believed that the fossil record would reveal thousands or millions of life forms which would demonstrate a gradual change from one kind to another (called transitional forms).
But the fossil record has been against the Darwinian theory from the very beginning. It's true that different kinds of organisms lived on the earth at different times. But what is not seen in the fossil record is the steady progressive change of one kind of thing into something completely different. Instead, if something new shows up in the rocks, it shows up all at once and fully formed, and then it stays the same.
Another proof that there is God:
Incubator Bird
The three to four pound Megapode or "incubator bird" (brush turkey) of Australia is unique among birds. All birds use body heat to incubate their eggs except the incubator bird.
Instead, they pile up great heaps of debris which serve as incubators; the warmth of the fermenting compost provides the heat. Some incubator birds use the heat produced by volcanic action.
After testing the nest to be sure it is adequate for incubating her eggs, the female lays 20 to 35 eggs at the rate of one egg every three days for up to seven months.
Upon completion of her laying task, she leaves the nest, never to return and takes no part in the incubation and raising of her chicks.
Once the chicks dig out of the nest, they are on their own. They are not fed or cared for by either parent. When they are mature, the male will build a huge nest as an incubator for his mate's eggs. He will build this huge, precise mound without any instruction from his parents. This is not learned behavior.! How does the brush turkey know the importance of 91°F?
How could the incubator bird even exist?
How could a bird evolve the ability to precisely measure temperatures with its beak or tongue?
Evolution says nothing is evolved until it is needed. How would the incubator bird know it needed the ability to keep its eggs at 91°F? The chicks would get too hot or too cold and die before he figured it out. And dead creatures do not evolve into higher forms.
Hug!

You're asking the wrong people, evolutionists accept that evolution is the source of all complex life, not necessarily that the big-bang was the source of the Universe.
What you should be wondering is not WHO triggered the big-bang, but WHAT, this is an obvious question that nobody can answer. But as the saying goes, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

It's my understanding that before the "big bang" the laws of physics (as we know them at least) didn't exist. In fact, those natural laws didn't exist until relatively well after the "big bang". I'm no physicist but, as I understand it, there is the universe and nothing (basically. don't feel like getting into extra dimensions). As far as I know there are no natural laws that govern nothing. So, in my mind at least, in the absence of any kind of natural laws, it shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for a universe to come into existence out of nowhere. On that same token it shouldn't be impossible for an omnipotent, "all-powerful" "god" to exist out of nowhere. Maybe god and the universe are one and the same. Who knows? You don't. I don't.
Maybe the big bang theory isn't right, but it's the best idea we have at the moment. Maybe evolution isn't exactly right, but it's the best idea we have right now. Maybe gravitational theory is wrong, but it's the best we have right now. As far as I can see all those ideas seem to be working.

Even many evolutionists do not beleive in the big bang theory as stated by most text books anymore.
Too many anomalies, a few factors being red shift etc.
One of the biggest things is that the second law of thermodynamics is disproven by the Big Bang, yet it is a law which holds as strong as gravity.

the Universe is a ever expanding collapsing matter..
just like big bang cannot be proven, god cannot be proven either.
but then again you shouldnt just rely on the christian answer to how the world was formed, look into other religions!
eg. in Hinduism, there is one god, but he has three visions of himself, Bhramman the creator, Visnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.
these three entinties keep the universe going.

Nobody maybe. we have no idea if there was a somebody or not. Its just consistent with the evidence that there was nobody all the way up to the big bang.
All the facts are what would be expected if there was no supernatural force at work. In other words, No supernatural force or 'God' of somekind needs to be understood inorder to comprehend the facts.

Evolution and the Big Bang are 2 different theories that just happen to complement eachother. Honestly, the details are unknown, but that doesn't mean we have to assume god did it because there is ignorance on the topic.
