Yes.
If someone tells you that your friend doesn't have a soul, it's because they want to be "the favourite"...have you ever watched a child trying to be "favourite"?
They come with all types of excuses as to why they deserve that extra scoop of ice cream, or to stay up later.
Please do not even question yourself on that in the future,
Sincerely,
Mister

There isn't any clear answer to that question, that I know of, in the Bible. Theologians have different answers to that and I don't know which one would be right.
I certainly hope that there would be animals in the eternal kingdom that we will share with God. It is supposed to be a place that is similar to the earth we know now and I can't imagine why animals would be left out.
The Bible says that God will cause the old heaven and old earth to be burned up but then He will make a new heaven and a new earth. I would think that He would create, not only the earth and the landscape but the creatures that lived in the landscape. Seems logical to me.

I believe so, read Romans 8:22 and 23. Also, the animals praise the Lord in Psalms 148:10 and 150:6. Grace and Peace!

These verses speak of the new Earth.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

if we are to believe all that many of us were taught, then we must remember we will be new creatures without the need of such things.
i.e. if this is not so it cannot be understood how say a family at judgment a Father a Mother A Daughter all but the Daughter were going to heaven yet the Mother and Father would not be concerned-remember no tears in heaven.

Yes there will be animals in the heavenly kingdom. "The lion shall lie down with the lamb, and the bear shall eat straw like the ox and nothing will harm you".
There will be an inner court to worship God and an outer court for animals.

If there really is a heaven, then the answer is yes. But religious people may tell you no. This is one of the great hypocrises of religion. It proves there is no heaven. Think about it.

I can't see why a loving father wouldn't resurrect a loved pet for a beloved child?
If I believe in eternal life and the resurrection and I believe that God loves me I see no reason why he would say no if I asked him

Vedic Literatures states that Heaven is different from Kingdom of God. Heaven is a place you go if you do pious activity. There are many Levels in Heaven too. Kingdom of God is place you go if you worship and render service to God.
There are many animals in Heaven. Although the status of animal here is not the same as in Heaven. We have clear description of presences of Horses, Elephants, Cows etc in Heaven in Vedic Literatures. But they are not in less consciousness as we see here on Earth. One may question why there are animals in Heaven. Heaven is the place for providing mush better facility for enjoyment. Human form is not the only form that has enjoyment. Rather, even on this planet, birds and other animals enjoy more sex than Humans. Elephants eat much more than any human can and there are animals that sleep for even half a year.
Vedic Literatures states that in Kingdom of God too, animals are there.
On this planet only Humans are able to render service properly to God. But in kingdom of God all souls are in full consciousness. Souls take up form there as per their mood of service to God. like if you want to serve God as His Father or Playmates, you take up Male human like form, If you want to serve God as His Mother or wife or beloved, you take up Female Human like form. If you want to serve God as Pet, or as a horse, or Bird that he would ride on or fly on, you can take up those forms. If you want to provide shade to the lord as he takes rest, and delicious fruits to eat for his pleasure, you can take up even Plant forms.
The difference being, in this world we take up different forms for serving our senses and satisfying our desires, and thus we become happy.
But in Spiritual world we take up different forms for engaging our senses in service of God and satisfying his Desire and thus we become Blissful. This happiness is much much more as that is our actual position of being. This happiness is eternal.
