Is there symbolism in there of what will happen in the future?

animals,fig trees,and people were significant in this story to show that G-d had destroyed all living things and only that which was on the ark was saved.
the animals like the people to me are one and the same in that "G-d breathed the breath of life into them and make them living souls or (beings).

No. It was just a story of how animals survived the universal flood.

.Noah's arc had animals male & female and thats how he replinished the earth w/more animals after the great flood.

I believe it was just to give us the reason they are here. but unclean by twos , clean by sevens is tricky

errrr because it takes male and female animals to reproduce.
