Long enough to get over two million people and their livestock across. The logistics are mind bogling!

I can find no time table in the bible for the actual time to cross the Red Sea as it is know to the world today. It seems that the Red Sea was in the Hebrew language called the Sea of Reeds and Reed Sea. I get this from the notes in the Revised Standard Bible, Oxford Edition annotated Bible.. You can probably find this at www,BibleGateway.com or www.bible.org. They have research bibles on line that you can use for research for free. Also one has a free download of the Net Bible for free with lots of notations.

In reading the actual account of the crossing it states that they were separated by the Angel of the lord and the night passed or was lifted up. This could mean that for the Israelites it was not night when they started and their night was lifted up but it was not lifted up and still night for the Egyptians. One can not be sure. Then the account says in the morning watch the Lord looked down on the Egyptians and clogged their wheels. After that it says thesea returned to its wonted flow when the morning appeared. It does give times in a day but it does not specify the sequence of the number of days or if it was all in one day. I guess you must just ask your God in prayer and maybe He will give you the answer.

Thanks for the question, I did rate it as good.

Do have a good day and do smile a lot.

I believe in the Bible it was The Reed Sea...

God, through Moses, brought a band of slaves out of their bondage in Egypy (Ex. 13:1-2), miraculously rescued them from Pharaoh's army at the Reed (not Red) Sea (14:1-15:21) and then led them into the wilderness of Sinai (15:22-19:1), (Exodus)

I hope this helps some, not sure about any websites...

They did not cross the Red Sea. They crossed just south of the city of Succoth which is north of the Red Sea.

under a year, as Moses was 80 when he left Egypt, 120 when he died, and they spent 40 years in the wilderness.
