If these immigrants want to live in a religious state, why did they move to a democracy? If you're talking about immigrants who are trying to overthrow the government, of course they should be kicked out. If you're talking about people who would vote for religious candidates who in turn would like to move the government toward theocracy, then this is a very interesting issue. Native-born citizens often vote this way, especially in the US, and in Iraq!
I realize there are many problems with immigrant communities, especially in Europe, and there are even some problems in the US now.
I hope you supplement your question or ask another! This is an interesting issue of where to draw the line!
Athene: Good comment. Someone who wants to live by the rule of law!

Should we allow anybody who does not accept democracy to live in the UK? Why are immigrants a factor in your question?
The very virtue of democracy is that people have a right to choose, by removing these people we would actually marginalise the democracy which we, i, champion.

Governments in secular countries who accept any immigrant into their country should make them sign a binding agreement to agree to live by secular rules of that country. If they break that agreement or incite others to do so then they should be deported.... and deportation should be carried out immediately.

Most certainly. If you are a real democracy they will never get their way in your country. So if they really want to live in a religious state they will move on of their own accord. If not their children will be wiser than they are.

No we shouldnt, if they dont like what this country is about then they shouldnt come here. People like this are an insult to all the genuine immigrants and a danger to our country and it's peace.

I don't care what they accept or what they want, as long as they abide by the rules, that's fine by me.
How would you find out in the first place? Does it never occur to people that someone might lie about their preferences when asked?
